Los Nuevos Bajos
About
Los Nuevos Bajos pair Me First and the Gimme Gimmes' Spike Slawson with Panamanian musicians Frojax and Potifar, rehearsing together out of a shared studio in San Francisco. Their sound reaches back to '50s rock 'n' roll and '60s Latin American Trío tradition — Spike calls it a tribute to the great Mexican and Caribbean groups of the mid-century. Debut single “Gema / Cien Años” features CJ Ramone and Latin Grammy winners Los Rabanes, and grew out of a sold-out first show at Panama's El Sótano.
